Don’t Focus on the Family

If you are a Christian who is living for your family as your top priority, you might want to watch this compilation of messages about family and marriage by Francis Chan and his wife Lisa. After all, the Kingdom of God is all about priorities, and our goal must be an “undivided devotion to the Lord.”

Just consider, before you watch any of these 3 messages, you might want to take some time to ask the Lord to prepare your heart and mind to take this biblical counsel – it might be hard to hear, but we don’t have time to waste to get our priorities right!

The first and following video is a 20-minute excerpt of a message given by pastor Francis Chan at a Focus on the Family convention.  May the Lord bless you through it!

The second and following message, entitled “Christian-Centered Relationships“, helps us understand the urgency of living for Christ because “the time is short [and] those who have wives should live as if they had none…” (1 Corinthians 7:29) Topics mentioned include failed expectations in marriage, where do you get your wisdom and fulfilment from, counsel for singles and those who are married to a non-believer, and ultimately the important of the Scriptures. Are you ready for the challenge?

The message below, “Two People with one Mission“, it gives again a most profound insight for Christian couples and their lifestyle and goals. Lisa addresses women specifically with so much grace from God and Francis addresses the men to be men, and both remind us the reason for marriage is to glorify God.  Furthermore, he mentions, “never a Spirit-led couple has gotten a divorce.” Find out more below!

If there’s any blessing you gained from these messages, feel free to share it with others below so that we all might be edified!
